Running Improves Mental Health
As a keen runner myself, I want to post this article to share the long list of benefits running can provide. These benefits include improving depression, anxiety and self esteem. Running is a relatively cheap sport and can start from your front door so it's great for those with little time. It is very portable as you can run whilst away on business trips and holidays. It can be incredibly social sport if you run as part of a club or group or it can be a good for 'alone time' for personal reflection. For me, I love the feeling of unwinding as I leave work or family behind. It's a little bit of 'me' time.
